Campers Cabins

Our cabins are "Campers Cabins", which means that bedding and towels are not supplied, you bring your own sleeping bags and towels.  For an extra $5.00/ bed/ stay, bedding or towels can be provided by request (please make this request when booking your reservations).

The buildings are powered primarily by Solar Power, so we do not permit the use of high energy items such as curling irons, hair driers, etc. We also discourage electrical wastage such as lights being left on when not needed, or the use of unnecessary electrical appliances.

The Boicey Cabin is named for Jack and Bunty Boicey, who had a home on this land during the 40's & 50's.  It features a large kitchen / living area with two separate bedrooms and a full washroom. The kitchen is outfitted with pots, pans and dishes; a propane cook stove and wood heater.  The two bedrooms provide sleeping for 6 persons with a double bottom and single top; bunk bed in each room. The washroom has a bathtub with shower.  The wrap-around porch features a big couch where you can relax and enjoy the view of the lake.

The McLeod Cabin is named for Kenneth McLeod, the original pre-emptor of our land from 1899. The large main room has a fully outfitted kitchen with propane cook stove and  pots, pans, dishes, etc. The same room has a table, futon, and beds. It can sleep 6 with one bunk bed (double bottom / single top), a second double bed and a futon. The washroom has a shower stall, and a cozy wood stove keeps everyone toasty warm.
